WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – In conjunction with its television partners, the Big Ten Conference announced times and television designations for the 2022-23 Purdue men's basketball season today.
The Boilermakers will be featured prominently on the national scene, making 18 appearances on major national networks (FOX, CBS, ESPN family). Of the 20 Big Ten games, Purdue will be on the three major families of networks in 12 of the contests.
Highlights on the Boilermakers' television appearances include CBS Sunday afternoon games at Mackey Arena against Michigan State (Jan. 29 – Noon) and Ohio State (Feb. 19 – 1 p.m. ET). Perhaps the toughest ticket to any game in the Big Ten this year will be Feb. 25, when Indiana visits for a 7:30 p.m. ET, tip on FOX. It marks the first weekend night game against the Hoosiers in Mackey Arena since the 2000-01 season.
The Boilermakers last four home games will be televised by ESPN2 (Iowa on Feb. 9) CBS (Ohio State on Feb. 19) and FOX (Indiana on Feb. 25; Illinois on March 5).
Road highlights include a 2:30 p.m. ET, tip against Michigan State on FOX on Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Jan. 16) and ESPN contests against Minnesota (Jan. 19) and Indiana (Feb. 4).
Purdue's home contest against Marquette in the Gavitt Games on Nov. 15, will be aired by FS1 at 8:30 p.m. ET. The Indy Classic against Davidson on Dec. 17, will be televised by the Big Ten Network at 6:15 p.m. ET, from Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The Boilermakers' historic contest against Penn State in the Palestra on Jan. 8, will be aired by the Big Ten Network at 4 or 6 p.m. ET. Lastly, Purdue will ring in the new calendar year on Jan. 2, with a noon tip against Rutgers from Mackey Arena.
Just one regular-season game, Hofstra on Dec. 7, will be streamed online on B1G+.
Season tickets are sold out this season, but single-game tickets will go on sale Oct. 18, to varying levels of John Purdue Club members, then will go on sale to the general public Oct. 21.
